The best photos for a flying car stunt
Framing, light and vehicle detail: small photo choices that give your stunt a stronger starting point.
Show the whole car
Keep the full body and all four wheels in frame. Cropped bumpers and cut-off roofs confuse the engine, and the stunt loses the silhouette that makes the launch read on screen.
Shoot in clear, even light
Daylight or a well-lit garage beats dusk glare. Harsh shadows and heavy filters get baked into the first frame, so a clean, evenly lit photo gives the model the most honest paint and detail to preserve.
Angle decides the template
A three-quarter side profile suits the Ramp and Kickflip side views; a head-on shot pairs naturally with the head-on Kickflip. If your photo faces the camera, pick a template that lifts the car toward it.
Simple backgrounds work best
A driveway, street or studio-style backdrop keeps attention on the vehicle. Cluttered parking lots are fine — the engine rebuilds the scene anyway — but a clean background makes the reference easier to parse.
It does not have to be a car
Bicycles, carriages, skateboards and other subjects take the same stunts. The rules stay identical: whole subject in frame, clear light, uncluttered view.
